A WAAF at Hunsdon

In March 2013 we were contacted by the family of the late Marjorie Baldwin, formerly Sgt. Marjorie Bloomfield of the Women's Auxilliary Air Force, who served as a mess/bar steward at Hunsdon from 1942 until the station closed.
Marjorie was very proud of her service in the RAF and was still working at the Age Concern shop in Wimborne, Dorset at the age of 95 until she had to give it up following a fall. She died at the age of 97 on March 18th 2013.
Her nephew David kindly sent a few photos belonging to his aunt that were taken at Hunsdon. If anyone recognises family members, friends, or even themselves, please contact us.
